Christmas (Holiday) Events on Saturday:
75th Raleigh Christmas Parade
The parade will start at 9:15 and last til about noon. It’s approximately 1.4 miles and you can see it in person or watch it live on ABC11.
Parade Route:
- Begins on Hillsborough Street at St. Mary’s Street
- Proceeds to the State Capitol
- Turns right onto Salisbury Street
- Turns left onto Morgan St.
- Turns right onto Fayetteville St
- Turns right onto Davie St.
- Turns left onto Salisbury St. and continues to Lenoir Street where it disbands
Global Holiday Festival
This is happening at Moore Square from 11-8pm. There will be food trucks, food booths, merchandise, dance & musical performances, and kids activities. Sounds like fun for the whole family. For full details click the link above.
Holiday Sip & Shop @ North Hills
From 12-4pm you can shop while enjoying the sights and sounds of the holiday (Christmas) season. If you spend $150 you can get a $25 gift card from North Hills. For full details click the link above.
Annual Tree Lighting @ North Hills
From 330-730pm, right after the Sip & Shop event North Hills is doing their annual tree lighting. This is a pretty cool event for kids as there will be crafts for kids, train rides, bounce house, face painting and visits with Santa. For full details click the link above.
Downtown Raleigh Tree Lighting @ The Center for Performing Arts
From 6-8pm the Mayor and members from the Raleigh City Council will take part in lighting the Downtown Raleigh Tree (@7:10pm). There will be entertainment and you can always enjoy walking around downtown, unless it’s raining which is currently in the forecast… So plan accordingly! For full details click the link above.
